this week's
youcapture assignment was
your best shot. we were to sift through the week's photos and pick our single best image. i, however, did not even read the assignment till last night, so what we have here is my favorite shot from five minutes of this morning:

[my seven year old, wearing peppered freckles and longsuffering, wishing his mother would be done with the pictures so he could get on with summer.]
iso 100, 1/200, f4.0
post-processed with 'pool party' action from

Great shot, it tells a story.
Awww, that's a great face!
That is a great shot!
aww.
I love this shot! Sweet...even though that's not what he was going for. ;) I get that look a lot, too, from my youngest child. Ahhh, what they have to put up with. (hee hee)
aw, what a handsome guy!
what a good looking guy. Love the shot!
I have joined in too, plz do visit
That expression...oh I love it! Some of my favourite pictures of my girls are ones in which they aren't exactly smiling. Too much grinning gets a bit old after awhile, yes?
wonderful. i love his little hands holding his face. great action, too.
This is a BEAUTIFUL shot.

I love this shot. It's perfect. :)
Peppered freckles and longsuffering. Does it get much prettier than that? No possible way!
The processing lends such a nice touch to this, it's a great shot!
I just recommended you to someone who's looking for a special charm bracelet for his daughter, hopefully he'll contact you!
Wore my special necklace on my trip to Germany this past week. Thanks so much.
Also, your photography is so good. Who cares if you win a contest?
