cherry blossoms galore.

the hubby has been out of town all week and so i have accomplished much in the way of sewing and eating ginger cookies, as that is what i do best when the hubby is absent: make things and consume too many baked goods.

i have not photographed my expanding waistline, but here's a top i made for elle:

cherry blossoms galore

possibly my new favorite kiddly top. classic lines, swingish, vintage button closure, in a gorgey cherry blossom print. if only it would fit me.

red classic top

vintage button closure

little red

swing by tomorrowish for more sewing shares and a giveaway. happy friday, friends.

Love the top and the sleeves are the most perfect little cap sleeves! I am working on a dress for my 4 year old and can't find a cap sleeve that I love...did you just draft up the little sleeve with that tiny pleat? Is there any way you can reproduce the dimensions so I could make the same sleeve? I would LOVE love to have it so I could put them on my daughter's dress...please let me know if this is possible! :) Thanks!

I love the material! If her aunt knew how to sew she would try and recreate that in her grown up size.

Are you looking for a new best friend? :) I just discovedred your blog and wow, you are one talented gal! The pieces you make are just beautiful. Do you use patterns when sewing? Also, I am in totally in love with the fabric for this red top and the pattern for it as well! Can you give me the name of the fabric? Thank you for your inspiration. ~Jena
