but then he caught that mischievous gleam in his eyes
and it was a rapid downward spiral from there on out.
(and yes, i did make him turn his tee inside out, which was a compromise between the screen printed right side and the button-down shirt i wanted him to wear. worked for me.)
in other news, it is now coldish only five out of every seven days, a sign that Perhaps It Shall Not Be Winter For The Rest of My Life. i'd almost abandoned hope.
and now, a few favorite quotes du jour. enjoy.
"The important thing is this: To be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become." {Charles Dubois}
"You have to trust your own muse. Even if she has a clubfoot and is subject to unpredictable seizures." {Glen Cook}
"If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?" {Albert Einstein}
ah yes, research. i knew there was a diplomatic term for what i've been up to.

Sure, sure. Blame it on your husband. ;)
He's adorable. Those are fantastic shots! His eyes are fabulous.
I was sort of wondering if we were going to have winter for the rest of time as well.
Wonderful pictures! And what gorgeous eyes!!
The colour of his eyes is nothing short of extraordinary - and his personality just leaps off the page!
Yay for that brief, tantalizing glimpse of the possibility of Spring!
I love those quotes. I think I want to paint the Glenn one on my wall (which, incidentally, would be a very bad idea for a renter, but still - my muse demands it, club foot and all!)
i love how we can see glimpses of their personalities in your pictures. your family is beautiful....in many, many ways!
