arachnid empathy

Elle tracking a teensy spider skittering along the ceiling.

"I think he's lost," she tells me. "I think he's going to find his mommy."

Oh my goodness she is the cutest thing ever. I just love her personality.

that is so sweet that she feels like that towards the spider. My daughter would have been running for the trees and I would have been right behind her!

just found your blog today...I enjoyed the spider story...I have had similar moments with spiders, caterpillars, giant grasshoppers, you name it, my girls have wanted to save it from being crushed, smashed, or whacked with the newspaper. Great photos too.

Those shots are amazing Nic!!! What a cute story.

My kids never have enough time to see spiders... the book their mommy throws at the spider hits it long before any children are aware that spiders exist. :)

About my blog... I hve been creating a photoblog and shooting weddings (of which I am away doing at this moment) and will be sharing when I get home!!! Eeeee.

Miss you!!! And really glad you are the one person that still checks my blog!!! Hee hee!
