I think only the most respectful SoCal-ites may answer with "'Sup." Otherwise, you look like the worst kind of Haole. If I hear "'Sup" in response in the OC, I want to see an anemone still sucking on your leg to show me you've spent enough time on the islands.
Anyway, why do these winter self portraits remind me somehow of H.C. Andersen's Littlest Mermaid? The girl so far away from her world? For love?
But you've still your voice. Your writer's voice. And it's a great voice.
