-plum-colored mums shivering on the front porch
-thick hot chocolate, plumed with whipped cream and a dusting of cocoa
-lots of sibling togetherness (which basically means that Zee has to dole out more quarters than usual for harassing his younger brother)
-the commencement of Christmas carols (hey, only 61 days, 10 hours, 9 minutes and counting)
-trains snaking along wooden tracks
-the wearing of fleeced hoodies and striped knee-socks
-creamy soups and warm waffles
-coldish noses
-board games and snuggly book time.
Here's hoping your Wednesday involves fuzzy socks. :) Be warm, friends.

Those flowers look so cheery!
striped knee socks are my fave. =)
oh...i love your new look to your blog! :) it looks great!!!
I love how you described fall in this listing! You have such a great way of putting it! Hope you have a great Thursday!
I am glad to hear you are also in the Christmas mood. I pulled out the hot chocolate for myself and my girls yesterday! I was able to stop myself from playing holiday tunes, but I was humming them!
I'm not the only one who's counting down to Christmas!! YEAH! You just made my day! Everyone else thinks I'm crazy... it's hard to really feel Christmas-y down here. It's supposed to be in the upper 80's today. I miss the crisp cool fall weather. I want a little snow. Does that make me crazy or what?
Those photos of the flowers are GORGEOUS! Great colours!!!
Oh, and Christmas... LOVE IT! I will be singing carols with ya! Virtually, of course. ;) OH! You just gave me an idea........
