Our first day of preschool-at-home went swimmingly. Our schedule is two hours of something along the lines of:
morning calendar
songs and finger play
journal
snack
project
story time
carpet activities
I suppose it is a nice thing to put that education degree to use every now and then.

Great to start their education at a very early age. Any finger painting? Glad to see that your education is not going to..... dad
So fun! We are trying something similar here, but Baby Girl keeps saying things like "But I don't WANT to write the letter A" And so, we do a lot of coloring right now :)

So brilliant. My mum did the same thing when we were growing up (she majored in child development). I made attempts at doing the same last year, but failed miserably. Hoping to get into the swing of it this year.
I am SURE that these are the most intelligent children you have EVER taught. (Must take after their grandma o. --you decide which one, he, he---Go grandma N.O.)
my girls love this time...I seriously can use it as a threat..."stop doing that...or we won't do school today!"

I absolutely love your blog because I LOVE seeing what my favorite grandchildren are doing. It's tough living so far away in Hawaii!
