Wow...I needed this today. I cried at Elle's song and wept with your reminder that the here and now is just that...here and now. We've been struggling with infertility for two years and have yet to feel direction from God about adoption, so I've been feeling very antsy to move out of this place in life, but you're right. It's temporary. The eternal is so much more important and to quote Andy Stanley, I shouldn't be mistaking God's silence for a lack of his presence.
